I’m Bev Liebson, Wellbeing Coach. 

This is my story…​

In 2009, I was diagnosed with serious auto-immune conditions for which there was no medical solution. This led me on a journey to discover my own alternative solution…. Through the Institute for the Psychology of Eating I was introduced to Dynamic Eating Psychology and Mind Body Nutrition, which is a positive, empowering and transformational approach. It recognizes that our challenges with eating, weight and health are intimately connected to our relationships, family, work, sexuality, our search for meaning and fulfilment, and so much more.​In life we all have a choice; sometimes that choice requires physical and mental change. I thrive on helping people change their lives and mindset by giving tools to overcome adversity. “Feed Your Choice With Food For Thought”

The reasons I came to see Bev was that I was binge eating, continued eating even if my stomach hurt, I wanted to deal with my fear of food, gaining weight and eating “bad” foods. 
 

Bev helped me understand eating unhealthily / over eating and binge eating were just the symptoms of my
challenges, and that there were many layers that we needed to uncover to find the cause. We talked about the issues and triggers in my daily life, my family, my lack of confidence and through this process I began to understand what was causing and triggering these eating behaviours.

 

Since working with Bev, I am no longer obsessed with what I’m eating, I no longer “beat myself up” if I eat something unhealthy or “bad” and I am much more accepting of myself.

I began my journey with Bev as I had digestion issues and inflammation in my body. I needed tools to help change and improve my health, weight and eating habits. I wanted to learn how I could use food as a tool to improve my health and wellbeing.
 

Following the change in my diet and understanding which foods to eat, I felt an immediate improvement in my health. Through a process of elimination and experimentation we understood that I have a sensitivity to white flour. Once I cut it out my diet, the inflammation and bloating improved significantly.


Working with Bev has changed my life. I realised that I had to change my eating habits, and it’s not only about what we eat that is important it’s also about how and when we eat.
